Synopsis :
Incarceration Nation exposes the Australian state’s relentless response to Aboriginal people. The film links this response to the colonial legacy and shows discrimination and trauma. Is it pure chance that Aborigines represent 23% of the incarcerated population while they are only 3% of the total population? A story of a difficult past and a present that remains so.
