Synopsis :

Set in the Kup Valley in PNG, Tribal Sisters tells the remarkable story of three women who created the Kup Women for Peace movement to stop tribal fighting. Angela Apa, Mary Kini and Agnes Sil share how they brought together women and men from different tribes to stand up for their right to safety. With unprecedented archival footage from over 20 years, the documentary provides a unique insight into Pacific women-led peace strategies.
